THE PASSIONIST CONGREGATION WAS FOUNDED BY ST. PAUL OF THE CROSS IN 1741 TO KEEP ALIVE THE MEMORY OF CHRIST CRUCIFIED IN THE HEARTS OF THE PEOPLE.

The Passionists serve by preaching retreats and parish missions, staffing parishes, providing televised Sunday Mass, hospital chaplaincies, spiritual direction, and hearing Fifth Steps. Our priests and brothers often assist Diocesan priests by celebrating parish Masses, hearing confessions, and visiting the sick.
